Dirty Tricks?

According to Warner Todd Huston, a writer on Newsbusters, Google has frozen or shutdown at least 7 anti-Obama blogs; most of them written by supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton who now support Senator McCain. Most of the blogs belong to a group of bloggers called the Just Say No Deal coalition. Rumor has it (Mr Huston was unable to confirm the rumor; perhaps he needs to go to Senator Obama’s rumor control website) that several Obama supporters accessed the Just Say No Deal coalition website and in a “dirty tricks” move constantly hit the “mark as spam” link so that Google’s system of finding spam blogs would trigger and freeze the targeted blog. If the rumor is true; it sure says a lot about how Obama supporters approach the concept of free speech. It’s something that applies to anyone who agrees with them; but certainly wouldn’t apply to anyone who disagrees. I guess when you can’t win based on your programs, your principles, and your leadership, you need to resort to “dirty tricks” to silence your opposition
