"You're not a Peacemaker"

This video is truly an education. It's interesting to learn what anti-war protestors believe and see how they act. Aside from the chants and regurgitation of slogans and soundbites, it doesn't appear to me that the protestors have anything substantial to say. Some the comments captured on this video really demonstrate the attitudes and biases of those on the left. For example, some of the comments include,

"We should close Gitmo and turn it into a memorial for everything that is wrong."
" Surge in the troops accomplished an increase in Iraqi civilian deaths."
"Our country is sort of in the dark ages and we need to move towards enlightenment."

Other protestors call President Bush and Vice President Cheney liars and killers, and call for hanging the President. Another protestor tells an Iraq War Veteran to "go back to Iraq and kill people." Another protestor, one who is obviously not an American citizen, says the American culture is a "criminal culture" and says that the miltiary in Iraq rapes women. Another protestor actually spits on one of the Veterans. Watch the video, but take your blood pressure medicine before you do.

Well I did not take any blood pressusre meds. before I watched that video but I wish I had some now.. Just who in the H--- do those people think give them the right to do and say what they do?? and as for that one B-----d who is obviously not an AMERICAN send him back to where he came from.. But then are any of them real American's?? or do they just not have anything else to do.. Guess I better quit ranting or I will have to go get blood pressure meds...

Thank God there are still sensable people in this country.. We better be very careful who we elect not only to be president but to serve in the congress.....
Thank you for letting me rant and rave.. could say more but not for print have to do it in the back yard where no one can hear me.. wouldn't want to ruin my image..

well I am back . I read my comment and I just want to say thank God we have such great young people willing to serve in the Military to protect the rights of people who protest and call for the hanging of our President. I am very proud of my husband, daughter, son in law, grand daughter, grandsons for serving this great country. and we must never take these freedoms for granted. Thank you guys

Grama36, you can rant on this blog anytime....just try to refrain from disturbing your neighbors if you rant in your backyard. I know it's a big backyard, but I also know how loud you can get ! LOL! BTW...I hope you know just how much of an example of selfless service you and your husband set for your kids and grandkids. It's no wonder to me, at all, that so many decided to serve in the military.

I have been spit at a few times while in uniform over the 20+ years I served recruiting. All from protesters at the local high schools or the front door of our recruiting station. Beating the crap out of the person who did it was my first thought each time but instead always just mustered a smile and would tell them to have a nice day. I felt that by directly confronting the person/people would just bring me to their level, someplace I never want to be.

nccm usn (ret), I'm glad you were able to hold your temper. I do have to say that an appropriately timed "have a nice day" and sarcastic smile goes a long way toward putting people in their place and demonstrating their lack of class. Recruiting is hard duty! Thanks for your service!
